How do I order Rx medicine from NextDayPets.com?

It’s really quite simple, in the search box type the name of the medicine you are looking for and press enter. If you are looking for a medicine to treat a specific symptom you can search our symptoms on the right side of the page. If there is a prescription item in you cart once you enter the check out page, you will be asked to verify information about your veterinarian and the prescription. Once you check out, we then fax your vet a confirmation page to make sure all the information is accurate and ship the item, generally within 48 hours. Please note, your vet must return the fax to the pharmacy before we can ship the medicine so please talk to your vet and urge them to cooperate.

How will Rx items arrive?

Most items will ship based on the chosen method, however certain orders, due to the nature of the medication, are only available for shipment via Standard Ground Shipping. If that is the case, at checkout, Ground will be the only option available.

What if I have questions about my order or product?

Questions about Rx and OTC medicine should be directed to your veterinary professional.

My vet will not verify the prescription.

From time to time we find that some veterinary offices will not return our faxed prescription request. If you have heard from one of our customer service representatives that your pet’s prescription has not been verified, please call your vet's office and explain that without their verification, your animal will not get its prescribed medicine.
